How many laser treatments will I need?
The number of treatments required will vary, depending on the individual, as well as the treated area. On average, eight sessions are required to successfully reduce unwanted hair. Remember, Skin First will deliver visible results quicker than other SPL or IPL treatments.

Is laser hair removal permanent?
With the use of a genuine laser, research has shown that hair removal treatments can permanently reduce hair. However, only technology such as Skin First lasers has the ability to produce such results. NOTE: BE AWARE OF THE INCREASE IN THE USE OF IPL LIGHT BASED TREATMENTS BEING OFFERED FOR HAIR REMOVAL. Although these are falsely advertised as lasers, they are certainly less effective than Skin First lasers.

Are there side effects?
Our Alexandrite laser does not produce ionised light and is not radioactive. Side effects of laser hair removal are rare. These will be discussed in the FREE consultation.

What should I expect after Laser hair removal?
The treated area may become pink. This will usually disappear within 1-2 hours. Between 7-21 days the hair will begin to surface and fall out. There should be no pain from the treatment.
